The Club
The Carthage Lions Club was founded in May of 1966 with 15 charter members. Today the club has 40+ members and is growing in membership.

Roar for Community Pride Fundraiser
Join us on March 21, 2026 at Lake Hill Winery an evening of dining, entertainment, and charitable giving.
The evening will start out with a happy hour preceding a meal featuring Steak or Chicken. After the meal we will start a live auction with some fabulous items including sports tickets, boat cruise, hunting package and more. Throughout the evening enjoy music and some friendly bidding on silent auction items and participate in the raffles.

Past Impacts
Some of our recent projects include:
Service Projects
- Rebuilt shelters at the Carthage Parks.
- Installed Fencing at the Daisy Dog Park.
- Repaired and re-roofed shelter at the boat dock and created kayak storage.
- Installed new doors and electrical upgrades at maintenance sheds.
- Installed fencing and built a playground shade at the Carthage Elementary School
- Installed murals at the Carthage Ball Diamonds
- Replaced boards on Community Stage
Community Events Support
- Memorial Day flag raising and cemetery ceremonies
- Organized and staffed July 4th cookout fundraiser
- Assisted with Strawberry Strut run
- Volunteered at hospital’s 75th anniversary celebration
- Highway clean-up project
- Christmas Open House parade float and traffic control
