The Carthage Ball Fields are currently being upgraded, specifically the Middle Diamond. The Carthage Park District and many members of the community have pledged to rebuild the middle diamond by turning it so home plate is closer to the bathrooms and concession stand as well as make it bigger and install drainage, new backstop and dugouts. Along with the many volunteers spending their time planning and working on the project, Ben and Raigan Brown and their family have graciously volunteered to help raise funds for the project to honor their son Jett Brown who attended his first T-ball practice at the fields then tragically he passed away later that day.
